Dipl. Architect Engineer (1979 Architectural School of Florence, Italy).
Dipl. of Arts, (major in Interior Design) (1978 Academy of Fine Arts, Florence, Italy).
He teaches at the Technical University of Crete from 1986, at the School of Production Engineering and Management, as well as the School of Mineral Resources Engineering. From 2006 he is a member of the Faculty of the School of Architecture.
His field of research involves Architectural and Building Technology, as well as Building Materials.
He holds a professional practice since 1982, and he is involved in numerous projects, as designer but also as contractor.
Basic member of the EPA 44/2 Urban Design Group (Ministry of Town Planning, Development & Environment), that had the overall project of the Regional and Urban Planning Expansion of all the residential areas, of the municipalities of Chania and Souda.
Founder of Urban Design Team, that was involved in the urban design projects for the development of rural settlements and residential areas.
He acted as an advisor of the Prefecture of Chania in matters regarding Development and Regional Planning.
President of the Standing Committee of the West Crete branch of the Technical Chamber of Greece, regarding issues around Development and Regional Planning.
Co-founder and Secretary of the Architect Association of Chania, Member of the Board of SADAS-PEA, President of the Regulation Board of the West Crete branch of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
