The course focuses on the comparative investigation of analogue and digital media (sketch, physical model, diagrammatic and detailed 3D digital model) as basic tools for the synthetic process. By experimenting on the synergies between analogue and digital, students are able to compare the different types of software and familiarize themselves with the particular features of each medium.
The course is structured in two parts: the first part consists of the 3D modeling process, while the second focuses on creating photorealistic representation through rendering engines.
